Doing Little Things at Christmastime
12/1/2009opossumsal.homestead
“I
some~
times think
we expect too
much of Christmas
Day. We try to crowd
into it the long arrears of
kindliness and humanity of
the whole year. As for me,
I like to take my Christmas a
little at a time, all through the
year. And thus I drift along into
the holidays – let them overtake
me unexpectedly – waking up some
fine morning and suddenly saying to
myself: “Why, this is Christmas Day!”

My family decided some time ago, that we needed to take the “less is more” approach when it comes to the holidays — any holidays. Taking the litle approach has become the modus operandi for the way we journey through the maze called life, if you will…
Hence, me, Savvy Suzy, and this blog, savvysuzy.com, is all about doing little things. Sometimes it’s not as evident, but I continue to work on it. And is there no time more relevant of this ideology than during the Christmas holiday season. I’ll showcase little tidbits here and there during the upcoming days as the spirit moves me. Thanks for taking time to read them.
