Three Years of Blogging & Moving Forward With DTV
6.10.2009Celebrating Blogging!!!

Yes, I’m still celebrating, all this month — as a matter of fact! It’s something I need to “crow” about, because, quite frankly, it’s not really that easy. Especially, when you have been doing it as long as, Problogger, who is celebrating his “5000th post“. Congratulations are in order to him, for hanging in there with lots of dedication, which in turn has made him an expert on the subject. I still have so much to learn, and I will definitely keep checking him out.
Well, as I’ve said, I am definitely no expert on the subject, not even close, but I do know something about perseverance — which is a word that I’ve learned to embrace as well as many others.
But as far as blogging goes, I keep learning new things about it every day. What do I have planned in the future? Simplification is something I’ve been harping about for a while now, but I need to get serious about it! There’s so much to do that it can get a bit overwhelming at times. I have to keep this blogging thing fun and simple, and that’s definitely what I plan to keep working on.
Here’s Me Having A Little Fun with DTV…
As far as the future goes for TV it’s getting ready to make another paradigm shift with the technology. Of course the internet has been the biggest advancement since the television, automobile, light bulb, telephone, radio and others. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard, the big news is that we’ll be making the shift to DTV, otherwise known as digital television, on June 12th, 2009.
Although, I do watch TV via Tivo, which allows me to condense my viewing habits of my favorite show, LOST, and a few others, down to a more manageable size, sans advertisement. However, I have to say, that the internet is the medium being utilized more so in our household for quite a while now. How is it going to effect the future of television? It’s hard to fathom — we’ll just have to stay tuned and see how it will reinvent itself.
