Okay!  Okay!  I’m saying it now! There’s a lot of fattening food being celebrated during these various kookie/foodie calendar months, and July is definitely no exception — with all this ice cream that is.

I don’t want to be accused of aiding and abetting — so my twist is to put up something that’s relatively healthy when I can.  There are way too many calories in some of these celebratory edibles.

“Threading The Needle Day” is a diversionary tactic.  I get that.  Besides, it’s a useful tool for not only repairing clothes, but for making them and other crafty items, too.  It’s another good diversionary tactic for keeping the hands from getting carried away with picking up the many goodies being bandied about during this month of July, and otherwise. But I’m still keeping the word moderation in my vocabulary during these foodie/kookie days…
