It’s that time again…  Another new year for everyone to do things better than they did the year before.  If only just one little thing that we can improve on — it means we’re growing.  No matter what our age — we all can improve.

Last year was a rather volatile one.   So one of my motto quotes (up in the right corner on this front blog page)  — “Expect the unexpected” — helps me deal with each year better.  In other words, be prepared for whatever happens.  That way we won’t be taken aback if things don’t go quite the way we anticipated.

Each year gives us a new chance to start everything all over again.  We can make some changes or maybe not, but we need a little change here and there to keep the motivation going — otherwise, it will definitely get boring.  On the other hand, too much change creates a kind of chaotic atmosphere.  It’s all a balancing act.

Last year I wanted to do more drawing, and that is what I actually did.  I didn’t take as many of my own photographs but the drawing made up for that.  I posted less, but it was warranted.  I’m playing it by ear as far as posting goes.  It could be more or less.  The constant here is that I’m still doing my calendar, but with a twist this year.  Also, I will continue to post my drawings to help me stay in a creative mode.  It definitely helped me last year.

My calendar is going to be somewhat different this time around — it’s bigger and you can actually click on the pictures and it will take you to another place here or somewhere else. Plus, we (my little avatar and me) will be going to check out more places this year, so you’re invited to come along with us.
