“Two Days We Should Not Worry“
There are two days in every week, about which we should not worry,
two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.

A time to remember those who have moved on. They have past by this earth and left their mark — now their journey has taken them away. This Memorial Day is our time as a country to honor them in some way. (more…)
I found this article on Stumbleupon — that was posted on my blog there, but I eventually took it off due to lack of interest. The article title was offensive, but it had a powerful message. Written last year by an Australian dentist, but put online by someone with the alias, GeekDejure.
I decided to copy it and delete the offensive word, and felt 9/11 is a good time to repost it. The message is very appropriate. A reminder, if you will — of who we “Americans” actually are: (more…)
