Save Time & Money When Buying Groceries

4.01.2007

From www.blueberry.org.

I need to save time and money when grocery shopping, but not at the expense of quality. Grocery shopping is not one of my favorite things to do. Need A Simple Garden Plan

3.04.2007

When it comes to gardening I have to keep it simple (Are you getting the idea that “simple” is the operative word in my life?) in order to stay at it. I kinda’ have a partial-green thumb. That is, I’m pretty good at clipping hedges and shaping things up (pruning) — pullin’ weeds can really get me carried away, once I get at it. However, I am a little squeamish when it comes to bugs, but I “grin and bear it.” (more…)

Neat vs. Messy

1.01.2007

It’s that time of the year when cleaning is on our minds. Must be from all the decorations, presents, food, garbage, etc., etc. It’s kind of an unofficial New Year’s ritual. The word — simple — is like music to the ear. (more…)

Disgusting Household Chores

1.01.2007

There is no getting around doing household chores, unless you pay someone to do it. You could refuse to do them, but you’ll be sorry! It’s just something we gotta do. So here is the opportunity to get it off your chest, so to speak. A cleansing. I’ll start it off: (more…)

Is it just us at Savvy Suzy or are we all really being inundated with food? At times, our poor stomachs feel like they’re under assault. Food could be classified as a “Time Bandit” (it’s probably the numero uno time stealer). It takes time to plan the food — buy the food — cook the food — and last but not least, by any means, EAT all of this FOOD! (more…)

Get Those Feather Dusters Moving!

11.01.2006

All right, all right! Someone’s kicking up a squawk about those feathers, but it’s not Savvy Suzy. She/I want to help you keep your nest clean the quick and easy way. Get a Maid! No, just kidding! Forgot to add inexpensively — especially after the holidays. How about doing it yourself?!!! (more…)

Decorating With Sense

10.31.2006

How do we keep our homes cozy, warm and stylish without going into debt by attempting to stockpile this and that? There are a few sites out there, I’m always searching for more, that can help, by offering creative ideas to keep our homes the places where we enjoy being and can’t wait to get back to. (more…)

Nurture A Green Thumb

10.01.2006

The air is crisp and fresh — makes me want to gear up and get out there to do something in the garden. Who am I kidding? (more…)
