“One of the effects of living
with electric information is
that we live habitually in a state
of information overload.
There’s always more than
you can cope with.”
~ Marshall McLuhan
If you’ve been paying attention when you stop by here, you may have noticed that I’ve been actually simplifying things at my nest for a while, now. It’s all designed to help me play around with the tools at my disposal — to help me get more in touch with my “right brain”, in other words.
That is, stop being such a “chicken” chicken and instead learn to be more “free-range”, by doing things that, ultimately, help me grow. Because, after all, isn’t that why we’re here, in the first place?
All this simplifying has extended into my Quirky Calendar Month and Savvyisms (Quotes) that I add to my stash. There are way too many events and made-up holidays going on for me to want or actually be able to keep up with all of them. Besides a lot of things are way too political, and I don’t do politics. Really!
Plus, the 20th of this month will be highlighting Information Overload Day — how timely, being that is one of my ongoing pet peeves or caveats that has to be constantly kept in check (I can get carried away with information myself.)
There’s so much to see and do, but oh so little time to see it all. So it is important to become more adept at getting to the heart of what is useful, and just chucking the rest.
These are just a few of the things that are on my radar for the month of October:
*Apple Month
. . . .

*Celiac Disease
Awareness Month
. . . .
*Squirrel
Awareness Month
. . . .
*Right Brainers
Rule! Month
. . . .
