4th ~ Use Your Common Sense Day

Thanks for dropping by. This month is also about finding simple, savvy and healthy fare that is not only easy but using a few ingredients that are not that fattening.  So why celebrate candy?  Because a little something sweet every now and then and kind of healthy is a savvy idea.   Besides it’s also National Georgia Pecan Month and I like pecans.  So  it all worked out.

We don’t eat a lot of candy around here, but our favorites are Gummi Bears.  But this is my new favorite recipe.  Although I would use honey or maple syrup instead. My family has given it a 5 star ***** rating.  It uses 5 ingredients or less, and the sweetness can be adjusted using different type sweeteners.  Plus a little butter could be added to create a praline.   So we will definitely be having this again.

Also, you can check out my ongoing and previous fare at this link on my site, and don’t forget to come back each day. You see, it’s just getting started — there will be a few surprises along the way.   So you’re welcome to just follow along.

Continue on down the page in order to check out the links below for other events for today. You can click the calendar below for the complete November Calendar listing, and there is that candy recipe in honor of this day.  Plus you can find other candy recipes at the link below…
