“A few sandwiches short of a picnic”…
but just enough for a hearty breakfast… Monte Cristo Sandwich, whatscookingamerica.net
3rd — National Cliche Day & Sandwich Day
Who doesn’t like a sandwich? I’m sure there’s someone who doesn’t, but there are so may ways of making them. I decided to cook something today that was new to me and maybe to you too! The recipe is above. My family gave this recipe a two ** rating, based on a 5***** ratings system: meaning it was fair.
This entree’ was a cross between French Toast and a cheese/turkey ham sandwich. But it was quite filling as a breakfast. Plus it was easy enough to prepare, because it was under the 10 ingredient amount I insist when cooking. Actually it was under 5 ingredients, so that was superb on that point.
My family likes French Toast the regular way, as opposed to it being infused in a sandwich. So we won’t likely be fixing this again. However, I did enjoy fixing it as an alternative to celebrate “Sandwich Day”.
