“Only once in a blue moon” do we get a date like 10.10.10.  It’s such a rarity.  Of course, we did have a blue moon on New Years Day this year, as I noted on SU.

Why are people wanting to get married on this date, as an example, of the supposed lunacy (pun not intended) that may be connected to the numbers? Well, for one thing it’s easy to remember. No doubt about that. And just imagine being born on this day. You would be quite unique.

Others say it’s important because of the binary code nature of the numbers 1′s and 0′s.  Live Science has written an article offering a little insight as to whether any of this means anything.
