This Friday is “International Freelancer Day”

I’m a freelancer myself, who is always open to learning something new about this growing field. It’s all about wanting to improve the skills I offer and presenting them in a more professional, but down-to-earth way.

Because being a freelancer means that we freelancers are our brand, and the packaging has to be a continual ongoing process to keep it relevant.  The playing field is global now, so that means there is a lot of competition out there.

I think in this economy, more so than any other, it has become even more important to get up and toot your own horn a bit.  So I plan to check out what International Freelancers Day has to offer in that regards, because that’s what my site is about… learning about things out in the ether to help me/us improve our bottom line — one calendar day at a time… be it kookie, foodie and in this case educational (and a bit kooky)…
