JUNE 2010 Kookie/Foodie Calendar Month & Celebrating Four Years of Blogging…

I started posting a few wacky calendar days last year along with the regular annual calendar fare.  Now, I’m offering up some foodie/y dates to boot!  I like calendars a lot.  They’re up there on my favorites list — along with quotes.

Plus — my how time flies — it’s my special celebration month again!  What do I have planned for such a momentous occasion?  Well, who knows?  Because I don’t!  I’m playing it all by ear.  Whatever strikes my fancy.  Doing little things here and there.

It means that I’ve been doing this blogging thing for four continuous years!  No stopping.  Slowed down a bit at times, but I keep coming back for more punishment.  Not really.  It’s been difficult at times keeping the momentum going, but once I realized that I have to keep it simple — by doing little things here and there — that made it easier.  I still get wordy, but I plan to really streamline that too.  Yes.  Really!!

There is so much to learn, see and do on the internet — that one can end up just spinning one’s wheels — not really going anywhere.  That’s exactly what was happening to me.  So now I will be putting up little things that I discover here and there — along with updated calendar events each month.

I will continue recycling, upcycling, repurposing — whatever you want to call it:  animated gifs, quotations, and pictures.  Plus I will be adding some of my own things here and there.  I’m just playing around here.  You’re welcome to come along, and don’t forget to… “Expect the Unexpected.”
