Expectations From, “LOST”, Episode XVI, “What They Died For”, aka…

5.19.2010 by savvysuzy

Egads‘!!!…

Yes!  This episode was quite a surprise.  The writer/chefs didn’t serve up the type of meal I kind of was expecting at this juncture.  But you see, I broke my own rule, that you can see quoted at the top right-hand corner of my home page of this blog… “Expect the Unexpected.”

I was expecting something different from the sampler dish we received for the penultimate episode — you see.  But that’s okay — I’m still rolling with things.

I have learned to take the show more at face value as opposed to looking for deep underlying meaning for everything.  There was way too much stuff going on and way too many changes — for me to delve too deeply into deciphering every little thing.  Besides I have got way too much going on in my own life to do that.

Regardless of how LOST ends — it’s been one of the best shows EVER — to watch, follow and play along with.  It reminded me of the “unexpectedness” with the way events happen literally in LIFE every day.  I think that, and the quirkiness and craziness were some of the ingredients that kept me tuned in for the long haul.

So, yes, I’m still waiting for the big feast, but with a wait and see mindset.  I’ll get to taste a little of this and a little of that — without over stuffing myself.  Until then…

“LOST” Quote, Season 6, Episode XVI, “What They Died For“…

ABC TV

MILES: “You sure this is a shortcut?”
BEN: “I lived in these houses a long time, Miles, I think I can remember how to get there.”
MILES: “Well I lived in these houses thirty years before you did, otherwise known as last week, and I have no idea where we are.”
BEN: Guess it’s a good thing you’re following me.”

While you’re here why not check out out my past reviews or, more so, just commenting much of the time… also you can go to ABC.com to see a recent episode — it’s just my serving suggestion.
