“My Bad”… Just Having a Little Fun…

A little diversionary tactic — hopefully you bought it, but not for long, that is, if you even saw it. Because, YES, the other article linked here was all a little April Fools Day Prank. I’m definitely no fool (I guess that’s debatable.) and you’re definitely no fool for reading this article or following what I think is the best show on TV ever!

I just had to play around a bit to relieve some of the build-up with the show winding down to the end. It is sad in a way, because I’ve tuned into every episode of this show for six long years. May have fallen asleep on some in Season 3, but, heck, I’ve definitely been here for the long haul, for sure!

As far as “The Package” episode is concerned, it was decent. It wasn’t great, but they can’t all be on that level. The writers have to save something for the finale — so we have something to look forward to. I get that! But I could definitely see things winding back to where everything started at — way back in Season 1.

Glad to see Desmond back. Doc Jensen, over at EW.com, was asking the question as to whether or not it was “sideways Des” or Des from some other time frame? It’s an interesting question that we’ll soon get the answer to, or maybe not! I’m just glad to see the show moving back in to the metaphysical, sci-fi realm. The “Good vs. Evil” or whether or not they’re in “Purgatory” are aspects of the last few episodes that were different and created lots of debatable controversy, but they can start to get heavy-handed if dealt with too much.

How are things are going to end? I don’t want to speculate — just please don’t be predictable. Hope the writers shake things up and do something totally unexpected. It’s been such a fun show to write about and pontificate over.

Maybe someone else will come up with something similar as far as being deep, with lots and lots of layers that we can relate to. So I’ll keep on the look out for something like that, but maybe I’ll need a long rest after the finale — before a new one shows up. “The Package” was a kind of tasty little snack, but I will definitely be coming back for something more substantial. Until then…
