Keeping Things in Perspective Until “LOST”
1.17.2010 by savvysuzy
Keeping things in perspective, as we start this New Year — we’ve had massive earthquakes, frigid ice and snow, droughts and now we’re finally getting a bit of much needed rain. It just reminds us that life is not all fun and games, but continually learning to move forward in spite of various set backs. I think that’s why the series LOST has resonated with me.
I’ve never really followed a show as closely as this before. Even with that said, I think at times I’m just scratching the surface. Heck! I couldn’t even get admitted to LOST University, because I didn’t pass the admission exam. I’m going to have to take LOST 101 to learn the nitty gritty, but maybe not — maybe I like not knowing every detail — maybe I know just enough to keep me interested!
I have fun here putting up articles, quotes and information about the show, but I understand it as that. When the show comes to an end I will let it go and move on to other things. That’s what life is all about — a series of endings and beginnings — dealing with the good and the bad. Finding little things here and there to help us on the journey and keeping things in perspective…
LOST COUNTDOWN!
“Q&A: ‘Lost’ producers discuss emotional final season“
“This show is about people who are metaphorically lost in their lives, who get on an airplane, and crash on an island, and become physically lost on the planet Earth. And once they are able to metaphorically find themselves in their lives again, they will be able to physically find themselves in the world again. When you look at the entire show, that’s what it will look like. That’s what it’s always been about.”
~ Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof
