Family Literacy Month
11.06.2009 by Savvy SuzyLong list of usual and unusual events to celebrate during my 2009 ThankFest all this month. One such event is, Family Literacy Month. It’s good for a family to sit down and read together, especially when the children are young.
It doesn’t have to be only books — it can be newspapers, magazines and even on the internet. However, the process for helping young and older people to learn to read, is made easier using phonics.
