Family Literacy Month

11/6/2009

Long list of usual and unusual events to celebrate during my 2009 ThankFest all this month. One such event is, Family Literacy Month. It’s good for a family to sit down and read together, especially when the children are young.

It doesn’t have to be only books — it can be newspapers, magazines and even on the internet. However, the process for helping young and older people to learn to read, is made easier using phonics.
