Creepy Halloween Cat

10.31.2009 by savvysuzy

RosietheCreepyCatThere she is, Rosie, the Creepy Neighbor Cat. I thought it was a good time to showcase her on one of the creepiest of holidays!  She’s laying on our patio — until I chase her away.

And that’s the game we play.  I’m winning in some ways — like keeping her out of the area where plants are.  However, she’s winning at two other areas.

To say she is my nemesis would be an over statement. We kind of have a “ping pong” kind of oneupsmanship on each other, as it is.  I don’t hate her. I’m more or less neutral toward her, but she’s trying my patience.

What makes her so creepy? Well, for one thing she’s got to have her own way, but that’s nothing new –  most cats do! All right! Here’s the piece de resistance… she likes to creep on top of our roof at night.  I guess a lot of cats do that too, but night after night? You’d think she’d get bored, and decide to do something else.  The cat has a devious side –  that’s all I’m saying for now…

“Winter is the season in which people try to keep the house as warm as it was in the summer, when they complained about the heat.”
