After blogging continually for three years, as part of the celebration, I’m giving myself and my little avatar a hiatus.  While we’re away, regrouping and recouping, I’ll put up something of interest.   You’re welcome to peruse the last three year’s content here at our nest.  Thank you for visiting!

Oh by the way — today is the reopening of the Statue of Liberty. It had been closed since the 9/11 attacks. Back last fall during my Leaf Obsession Tour, I was reminded of my visit to Ms. Liberty, many moons ago. I actually got to climb up to the crown and look out. It was quite compact, but it was an amazing thing to have experienced. I’m glad it has reopened.
