Opportunity is Knocking Loud For Unemployed, Susan Boyle!

Well, Susan Boyle, didn’t take the top spot in the Britain’s Got Talent Finale, today in England.  She took the second spot. But the pressure is definitely off of her now, and she’s goes out into the world perched on the “underdog” platform — which appears to have had a lot to do with her massive appeal in the first place.

She had a bit of a melt down during this week — where she was reported to have been spewing four letter words left and right. Then she was forced to go into hiding before Saturday’s final showdown.  Here’s her final performance and her competition, Diversity’s winning performance. Someone said it best — it was like comparing “apples and oranges”. Both acts were good, but very different.

However, when all the dust settles, Susan Boyle, has certainly made a name for herself.  On many shows of this type such as, American Idol, the second place winners have fared much better than the people who walked away with the trophy.  One such person coming to mind is, Jennifer Hudson, and she has made an amazing name for herself.

So it will definitely be interesting to see what happens to, Susan Boyle, because from one unemployed to another, “opportunity is definitely knocking” for her!  Bravo!!!

Update…

It’s been reported that Susan Boyle has had to go to the hospital — due to all the stress that she’s been subjected to in the past weeks and the finale. The sudden fame is taking is toll on her. “We can please some of the people some of the time”, but why please anybody — she just needs to go back to being herself and take the high road and stop dropping f___ bombs. That’s my advice to her — just putting my nickel out there on the matter.
