Where are We Going?

Where are we going — me & my little avatar — that is?  Good question!  I was reflecting earlier this year on what is the best direction for this blog to take.  As far as “Mommie Blogging” goes, I am definitely a mommie and I do blog, but my interests lie beyond the day-to-day of maintaining a home and raising kids — “been there, done that” kind of a thing!  I’m more interested in savvy ways to simplify the housework and the everyday maintenance — so that I am able to pursue other interests in order to grow as a person.

Although, with all the mommie blogs out there, I do like to frequent some of them and add my nickel, to the frey.  It gives me a sense of nostalgia and deja vu’ all at the same time, when I read some of the topics that are being discussed.  Plus, I do learn some new ways of doing things.

But again I like to talk about a variety of things and ways to improve.  Be it looking for a job, developing a business, blogging, finding frugal buys, making things, going to interesting places, researching new ideas, popular news (I don’t do politics), etc., etc., etc.

We are going places virtually out there in the ether, me & my little avatar, that is.  But I also like to go and do things literally and see what others are doing.  Here are examples of people out there exploring, literally, the globe and keeping a journal of his travels.   He was on this list of Top Travel Blogs at National Geographic Adventure site.
