and of being an optimist,
is to be foolish enough to believe…
the best is yet to come.“

Episode #11, “Whatever Happened, Happened”
I’d rather sit and look out the window and eat popcorn than watch “Lost” at this point, and I don’t even eat popcorn anymore. Last night’s episode was very tepid. The previous, episode #10, was cranking it up several notches or two — more so than, episodes #8 and #9, which were moving at a snail’s pace. The previews for the shows I just mentioned — conveyed an air of excitement that never really materialized — only in episode #10.
Just foolin’ about not wanting to watch the show anymore, but they’ve got to get going and give us more action! The Lostees are stuck in the boring ’70′s with only six more episodes before the season ends. Now that we got a quasi answer to what happened to Aaron (Kate just up and left him in that motel room by himself. We don’t really know if his grandmother went to the room to get him or not.)
They need to get this season moving again, like they did in the beginning and not cram too much stuff in the last few episodes at the end of the season — like they did last year. (But that was actually due to the strike — they had to condense everything.)
I’m sure the producers, directors, writers, cast and crew, don’t want a repeat of season three. I know the show’s ratings have dropped, but that could be due to a lot of inconsistency with the story line and the action. I’m going to give them the benefit of doubt, and assume they’ve been holding back on us with the last few episodes. Well, whatever, I think it’s time to get going…because, maybe…the best IS YET TO COME!
