Update: I’m finding out a bit of little tidbits or more like LOST “Easter eggs” scattered about in each episode — thanks to Lostpedia, such as:

• A connection to C. S. Lewis’s, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
• The Bible connection with the quote from, Psalm, 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”, which is related to the Lamp Post Station. Also, the reference to Saint Thomas the Apostle
• Steven King’s, Langolier book, which had people moving about in time from a plane
• Hurley is reading a comic book called the, Y: The Last Man, written by one of LOST’s writers, Brian K. Vaughan
