LOST: Jughead, aka…

…Oh!  It’s time to skedaddle…again!

In an attempt to keep up with LOST from now on out — that is, with all of this flashing in and out of time — I am going to corral what I’ve learned from each episode into a list:

Jughead, Episode III

1. Desmond and Penny have a baby…awww
2. …and they live on the boat
3. Daniel Farraday appears to be a cad
4. We were in the present time of 2008 and then we literally flashed into the circa 1950′s and out
5. Richard wears permanent tatooed eye shadow and liner
6. “Jughead” is a bomb
7. Mr. Widmore was an “Other”
8. Locke doesn’t have a clue

… we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well.  Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that’s so deeply a part of your being that you can’t even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more…perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise?  Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless.

As a parallel — this is what’s happening in our time frame of so called reality…

1. New President is settling in and making all kinds of changes
2. Numerous companies are folding or on the brink
3. Americans are losing jobs and some are giving up
4. Large sums of money is being bandied about
5. Unscrupulous people are doing ponzi schemes
6. There are those of us who just keep moving forward…
