Once I had the tree, what was going on it was the next question?  Well I have a very tiny collection of miniatures.  No pun intended, but that was another way of saying just a few little trinkets that I have come by over the years.  That gave me the idea of decorating with miniature ornaments — plus it was inexpensive.

It’s not always easy finding small ornaments, so I have used buttons as well on the tree.  At some point I’d like to improve my picture taking.  It would be great to be able to show the little trees.  They’re nothing spectacular, but they add a burst of colorful whimsical fun to the environment.

My main little tree is in the dining room — near the kitchen — with that in mind, it’s decorated with fruit and veggies, what else?  It’s a very colorful little tree.  There are bought ornaments, handmade do-dads and a combination of the two. I suppose you could call it a produce tree.  One thing is for sure — it produces lots of whimsy and joy!

Speaking of whimsical fun — I have a new affiliate that I’m introducing to my site for the first time.  It’s called Artella Land. I discovered it serendipitously a few months back, while researching on another topic. It’s a place where you can take classes to learn about topics like altered art and collage. There is a heavy influence on the written word — be it hard copy or computerized scrapbook journalling. They have memorabilia of all kinds. I bought my first e-book there, which is turning out to be quite an interesting experience.

Last but not least — this has nothing to do with my topic, but it is totally whacky picture, that my son sent to me. People are very adaptable.
