J: Is for Jazzy Leaf Break & Letter “K” States
9.22.2008 by Savvy SuzySince there are no states starting with the letter “J”, being that it’s officially the first day of autumn, I thought it would be the perfect time to take a cue and throw in a jazzy tune. Besides you may be wondering why is she discussing minutia, when there is financial crisis going on? Well, in my mind, this is the perfect diversionary tactic to counter all of that negativity. It’s the perfect Rx to help anyone calm their jagged nerves.
So to further help out in that regard — I’m offering up a little “jam session” entitled “Autumn Leaves”. How apropos…
That little number just hit the spot. Now moving on to the letter “K’s”. Sorry J’s, looks like no states starting with you. But Dorothy and Toto remind us that “there’s no place like home” and particularly in Kansas (16).
This is another state that I haven’t had the opportunity to visit. This fall photo gives us leaves and a bit of nostalgia. How cool!
This next state is known for blue grass that’s eaten by horses and they can roam and prepare to race in the likes of the Kentucky Derby. Well what do you know, the state is called, Kentucky(16), too. Being that it’s a neighbor of Illinois, means that I have visited this state before, but it was only one time that I can remember.
That’s just lovely and giving my condition much satisfaction.
Really, really lovely leaves are up for grabs.
