The Soft Glow of Autumn
9.04.2008 by Savvy SuzyIt’s time for me to do something about my condition, leaf peeping, because it’s starting to stir again. Beginning with the urge to see just a few leaves — due to it still being summer — but the symptoms get stronger and stronger, as the season progresses. There are signs here and there that fall is actually in the air.
Me and my little avatar plan to check out all 50 states, to see what kind of show autumn puts on from place to place. And of course, to help calm the senses.
The first photo was taken who knows where, but it looks like it’s beckoning you to come and follow us on our journey. It’s a lovely mixture of cool and warm colors. It’s getting us off to a soothing start right from the very beginning. The other photo below is a rich collection of leaves to give us a sampling of the various types of colors we hope to encounter along the way. I’ll be checking these two out again and again due to the warmth and softness of their glow.
What’s your favorite season? How about answering my poll on the right sidebar? Regardless, thanks for stopping by and do come again.
