Falling Into Fall

“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.”
~ George Eliot (thinkexist.com)

Let the colors of fall begin! The reds, the rusts, the golds — all the bold, bold, bold colors, smells and shapes of autumn. I’m ready for another fall tour. Ready to experience the colors and the smells.

As you can probably tell from these words, that fall/autumn is my favorite time of the year. And especially ready this year after a hot and very dry summer here in the west and pretty much across the country.
From the looks of things we’re moving toward a warming trend. Is it caused by humans’ careless habits or is it one of natural causes? Well, that’s one we’ll have to ponder, but for today how about savoring the sites of autumn? You’ll have to find your own smells.
Just a little tour down memory lane for my site — here’s an article I did for autumn last year for my first autumn tour, ‘The Colors of the Seasons’. Sometimes I can get carried away with this affliction, called “Leaf Peeping”. Here are some results of having these issues:
