I’m always looking for ways to help me with the KISSS (Keep It Sweet, Savvy, & Simple) approach to doing things, because I’ve learned from getting no where by attempting to do things the hard way. Have you had this affliction too?
How can things become so tedious, even with all this technology that’s supposed to make things easier, is my question? It seems like every time I turn around something is being updated or changed! If you’ve become part of the whole social media phenomena, like me (which includes blogs, of course) — then you probably have experienced how it has created a whole other way to wile away our time. Don’t mention all the additional things that are needed to be learned, in order to keep up with the fray!
RSS or web feed formats would be under that category of something that is supposed to help us simplify this growing mountain of information at our disposal, by being syndicated. I get the gist of the subject at hand, but more software gadgets and terms and ideas are added all the time, like everything else dealing with the internet and computers!
Well, I’m not going to try to explain how it works (even though I attempted in the past), but I am going to link you to, Simple Mom, who has done a beautiful job of putting this RSS idea into simple terms. Plus, I found some other useful tidbits on the subject from her and others commenting on her site.
While you’re here, why not get my feed at the top of this page, if you’re interested, that is if you haven’t already done so. Thanks for stopping by and reading my articles. I’m always tweeking my site, too, as I improve on my journey! Never satisfied! 😉
