In keeping with the simplicity theme all summer long, how about a little fun? Well, you know a few things about me that I’ve shared with the whole ether-world: the fact that I’m unemployed and financially strapped. That being out in the open is part of the reasoning behind my embracing the word “simple“.

So what do I suggest for simple, cheap fun? How about going to a movie on the cheap. You say “a movie … not cheap.” I say, that’s true, if you go regularly and get all the accoutrements. My money is low so I take my own snacks or eat nothing, but regardless of that fact, there just simply aren’t that many movies I’d pay to go see, which makes it even easier.

This year, it appears, I’ll be going a bit more to the movies (I’m thankful to have my two sons, who will pay my way. My nickname is ‘Mommie Moocher!’) What kind of fare am I suggesting? Well after raising my two sons, I’ve developed a liking for fast and furious action/adventure movies with super heroes like the ones below (Go Figure?;)
