“Lost” In Time! (Episode #5)

2/29/2008

Although, now, it’s time for me to get “Lost” again! I’m talking about my favorite show, “Lost”, of course, and what a fantastic episode (#5, “The Constant”)! It was just like watching a movie. I’ve said it before, Desmond, is my favorite character on the show. He’s not half bad to to look at, but more importantly, his character is deep! His back stories are the best ones I’ve seen. I like the mystical elements that his whole character imbibe. This is the first show and character that I had ever cared enough about to express my opinions on. So take that for whatever it’s worth.

It’s A Good Kind of “Lost”, Part II (Episodes 3 & 4)

2/26/2008

I’m still making little changes to my nest. Thought I would take time to say something about my favorite show,“LOST”. I have a little extra time, especially with it being leap year and all. There are so many theories and discussions about the show out there in the ether. The writers are taking us “up the mountain and back.” So I thought I’d throw in my “chicken feed.” :D

It’s A Good Kind of “Lost”, (Episode 2)

2/25/2008

Week of 2.18.08: ‘Are You “Lost” Yet?’

I’m just taking time out to comment about my favorite show. The past two week’s, LOST, episodes have been all over the place. The supposed rescuers are either (men specifically) bumbling idiots or just plain shrewd and crafty. I plead the latter. (more…)

Eye Candy for the Home

2/14/2008

I’m into organizing or reorganizing something all year long — so doing it around this time of the year is no big deal. Same goes for dieting (I don’t like to call it that.) or my eating regimen — it’s a constant monitoring (Can I eat that or why did I eat that?) kind of a thing. So when I hear people talking about it — I kind of yawn — enough already! (more…)

“LOST”: A Show for Head and Heart

2/1/2008

In honor of my favorite show of all time coming back into the fold, I came across this link from beliefnet.com, as to whether the show is spiritual or not. Also, I was inspired to write about the show myself, back in the summer last year.

Well, I think it has spiritual overtones, and I believe that has something to do with why I like it so much. There is so much depth and hidden meaning to a lot of things that happen in the series (plus a lot of stuff that goes nowhere) — that it starts to get the mental gears turning in regards to real life events in my own life. Matters of the Heart

2/1/2008

In spite of the SAD effect — in spite of the general January blahs — in spite of not wanting to make too many changes at the same time — I’ve had to move forward and make changes for the new year, regardless. A major one for me that you can see is my new site design. I’m getting the front page of my nest redecorated and then the rest of the sections in due time. Plus a new little vehicle and a little sprucing up to take me/us (me and my chicken avatar) to all these different places out there and to display what we/I find.

Sweet Ideas!

2/1/2008

Okay! I’m into doing a lot of eye exercising this month — and some little hand calisthenics to boot. Now, I’m going to rachet things up a bit, and do some mental exercises. How about looking at some plants that are friendly, and will be easy to plant and maintain come spring. I guess you’d call this making some kind of plan for garden improvements.

A Little Blog Tenderness

2/1/2008

I’ve been busy the past few months remodeling my blog site — my little nest out here in the ether. It’s an ongoing work in progress — so excuse some of the messiness and dust. :) Plus I’ve got a new vehicle to fly me/us (me and my avatar persona) to destinations near and far, as I’ve mentioned before.

I’m Taking My Heart, Too!

2/1/2008

I thought it would be kind of fun this time of year, since I have my new flying machine, to venture out a little further. After all that was part of the idea behind my new vehicle.
