Merry Christmas! Final ABC’s of “Gifts” Given ~ “V - Z”
12.25.2007 by Savvy Suzyjasc.com

Well, everyone, this is the last of the ‘ABC’s of “Gifts” Given’ list. I’m wrapping it and tying it up with a pretty bow and presenting it. Let me give you a little reminder as to how this all got started:Remember, last month I was thinking about the things I was thankful for during my ‘ThankFest’ — it being the time of “Thanksgiving” — that was my real motivation. But I had highlighted this idea previously in other articles that I had written during the year such as: “Eight Gifts to Share”, which I wrote way back in May. Plus, an article I wrote this month about the, ‘Necessities of Life’, was yet another catalyst for me to think about all the great “Gifts” we were given for “free.”
It’s Christmas Eve and I like to present the last of the gifts that I found while searching for “Gifts” that we all have been given. While doing this it has just made me want to be more aware of everything I come in contact with, because it is so very easy to take things for granted.
Thank you for stopping by to read my list, and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hope you enjoyed the list. I’d like to hear your comments or any additions you might have to the list.
Last of ‘ABC’s “Gifts” Given’ List:
V - Your “Voice” is a “Gift” to express yourself.
W ~ Where would we be without “Water” — a “Gift” of necessity.
X ~ The pickins’ were pretty slim on finding words that begin with “X,” and that were given, but I prevailed and found the very useful word “Xerophytes” to describe these resilient “Gifts” — especially for the conservation of water.
Y ~ Is for this thing we do with our mouths called a “Yawn”.
Z ~ Lastly what a way to end the list — but with two words that are similar in a lot of ways “Zeal” and “Zest” they both had to do with a certain “joie de vivre” — a “Gift” of passion and appreciation for this the ultimate gift of “Life” we have all been given.
But I can’t stop here — I will continue adding some other words that I found up until the end of the year. I’m “on a roll” — so I’ll keep going, but I just wanted to wrap the “ABC’s” list up for Christmas. Hope you enjoyed it.
