ABC’s of “Gifts” Given, “I - K”/Plus, A Few of My “Favorite Words” Meme

I’m doing my “Gifts” list all this December after thinking about the things I was thankful for during my ‘ThankFest’ last month and the “Eight Gifts to Share” article I wrote way back in May.

Now, there is a third element coming into play after I was tagged to do a meme by, Heather, about “Birth Months” last week. I rose to the challenge — finishing mine, tagging twelve others (including Neena) as I went along. Then, Neena, who tagged me with a “Favorite Words” meme that she was initially tagged by, Isabella. They are all at MyBlogLog, I believe, not totally sure about that.

Have you got all of this straight, dear blog reader? There will be a test afterwards! That’s a four letter word. So to try to keep things simple I copied this info.:

Isabella, came up with “let’s make this a meme!” — her rules follows:

* what are your favourite words, and why?
* what does that tell us about you?
* write about it on your blog and invite other bloggers to write about it.
* gather the words and contributors in a list and publish it
* stumble your “favourite word” post (as long as they meet my stumble criteria, which shouldn’t be difficult with a post like this)

I’m saying — Phew! This is weaving a very tricky path — I hope you’re not getting too lost, reader. Now, here is my list of “Tagees” and “Favorite Words” that I found at Nancy and Steve M.s’ sites.

Well, for this meme, things worked out a lot better. Two of the three people I tagged came back in “flying colors” — Yea! Thanks so much ladies. Great lists.

First one, was Leena, way over in Finland, and then I tagged Nancy, and she’s here in California, who finished too. Now, we have to wait to see what, Isabella, plans to do with all these words.

I will keep you in suspense no more — here is my “words” list to add to the others:

Some of the words on the list I have come to know better after going through a number of transitions to get here where I am today.

There was a point in my life when I started to become more 1) “savvy” — so it is one of the many favorite words I like, but it’s not on my “Gifts” list. It could be considered a “Gift” — I’m learning to develop it more. Right now I’m mostly savvy about little things.

Here is my ABC’s “Gifts” Given list along with Three more on my list of many “Favorite Words”:

I ~ Einstein said that “The only real valuable thing is, 2) “Intuition”.” I’m learning to listen to mine more every day.

J ~ is for, 3) “Joy”, which I learned to find in the “little things in life” are what’s important and there’s more Joy below, but first

K ~ for 4) “Kindness” which has been highly underrated and not appreciated for a long time. This is not only a great word, but again, it involves the “simple things” in life. This organization is working on changing the perception of this word. I want to be kinder as I go forward on my journey through “Life.” Plus here’s another.
