ABC’s of “Gifts” Given ~ “L – P”

Oh, I’ve been cynical before, and concentrated on the things that were negative. That didn’t get me very far. I had to hit a lot of “pot holes,” “dead ends” and “detours” along my journey. After acquiring some “sage advice” — my path was still riddled with obstacles, but, now, my outlook has changed, and that helped me adjust to the ride.
We think of “free” as being something with so-called “strings attached.” Well, these “free” things require that we be appreciative of how “exquisite ” and “exceptional” these “Gifts” truly are. “One-of-a-kind” gems. You can’t buy them anywhere, for the most part. We just have to be open to accepting and utilizing them with a “thankful heart.”
I got tagged to do two other “memes” (“Birthday Months” and “Favorite Words”) while I was doing this list — so I thought to myself, ‘why not!’ Here’s a few more letters on my list:

L ~ This word gets tossed about so much these days. What is true “Love” anyway?
M ~ When I got to this letter my mind was racing all over the place — “Marriage, Men, Memory, Muscles” — but I’m going back to the second “M” word in this sentence “Mind.”
N ~ I was a little stumped when this letter came up. So what did I do — headed straight for the dictionary, to get my “Mind” “Moving” ( that’s another good “M” word) — but I’m on “N” what to do? I could go with “Night” or “Neighbors”. “No” is an “N” word, too, but “Not” my choice. I settled on this delicious food (must be hungry.)
O ~ Depends on whether your glass is “half full or half empty?”
P ~ “Perseverance” and “Optimism” are two great words that give me encouragement to keep moving forward!
