“There’s No Place Like HOME!”
12.07.2007 by Savvy SuzyHome, is where we dwell — alone or with others — specifically, a “Family”, which is synonymous with “Home.” They are both what you make of them. It’s all in how they’re cultivated.
Home and Family” come to the forefront during the “Holidays.” It’s the coming together of family members, if you’re fortunate enough to have them — into this dwelling called “Home.”
It is the one institution, if you will, that has span the ages. From the beginning people have gathered around the hearth of the “Home.” But regardless, of whether you are a member of a “Family” or “Alone at Home” — you, too, can make that place exude with warmth every time you walk in the door.
The more “one of a kind” — “odds and ends” type furniture and accessories you have — the better. I should know — most of my furniture pieces have been “castaways” and “junk/thrift store finds.” They’ve helped in making things cozier around here. The “glue” that holds things together is “color.”
Things like traditions, decorations, maintenance…help to make this “Gift” keep on giving everyday. “There’s no place like HOME!”
