Necessities of Life

The economic system varies from country to country. The valuation of the monetary system from each may be higher or lower, depending on the standard of life. Depending on what type of family situation we happen to be born into — has a bearing on a person not only financially, but in many other ways.
But bringing this article back to the real world of everyday folk, who are “just getting by” or struggling, well, we have to look at this next “Gift” in a whole new light. I’m talking about the “Gift” of “Wealth.” For various reasons that “Gift” can appear to be avoiding us, for whatever reason.
Now, this is my take on this elusiveness, if I can call it that — when we don’t appear to have much to begin with — we need to look at this particular “Gift” in a whole new way. I’m talkin’ about myself. I had to stand back and look at my life under a pair of new glasses.
Not necessarily “rose colored” but crystal clear in their outlook. Then I could see that I was wealthy in numerous ways. It’s these types of “Gifts” that we can take for granted — these everyday-appearing “Gifts” like food, water, clothing, shelter, transportation… These things are the “necessities of Life.”
Once my mind started “waxing” this way — I realized that I was abundant in gifts — not just those, but so many, many more. I’ve realized, over time, that I need to take these “Gifts” and use them to improve myself — every day and every way I can. Here are more ideas from others, and I’m doing my “Gifts” list all this month:
