A Special “Gift!”

I am waxing so sentimental this month. After having my ‘ThankFest,’ I was inspired to look at what Christmas meant to me. I am not a religious person, per se, but more “spiritual” in nature. That is why I believe that the “Gift” of “Spirit” is a “Miraculous” one.
Without this “Gift” how could we do anything? The fact that we are able to stand up, move around and do everything else that we as human beings do — is truly an “Awesome, Awesome Thing!”
This “Spirit” is something that only we humans are endowed with. It was a special “Gift” that was given only to us, and a lot of times it’s taken for granted. I took it for granted — after having some “hard knocks” hitting my “knuckleheadedness,” so to speak, numerous times — I finally got it. Getting older has a tendency to start putting things in proper perspective.
I realized that this is a special “Gift” that was given to “me” of all people! I better stop squandering it! I gotta’ “use it or lose it” as they say. So that’s what I’m about doing. I’m using this “Gift” to help create the “Purpose” for my “Life.”
