World’s Longest Garage Sale
8.01.2007 by Savvy SuzyDo you have the urge to order your nest before the winter cold sets in? I’m attempting to organize my garage and home — before the onset of fall and winter clutter (decorations & things) starts getting in? Where does all the stuff come from? Well, duh, I’m in denial — it was my doppelganger (SavvySuzy) that brought it in. No really, it was my family and I, that did this. So it’s either time to corral this stuff or let some of it go.
Garage sale anyone? Well, I’ve gone that route before, and it’s really a lot of fun. It’s a lot of work too, but well worth the effort. I did it for over ten years when we lived in a house, as opposed to a townhouse, which is the case now. We can’t really do it here, but I can sell on eBAY, which I haven’t done yet. But now is as good a time as any to check it out. Also, I can donate (which I do a lot of) or trade with some group (haven’t tried that either.)
Plus, after we’ve cleaned out some extra space, we can always start adding to the collection again. Specifically, if you’re in the Tennessee, area it’s time for the Garage Sale of all Garage Sales — the “Motherlode”. The annual “World’s Longest Garage Sale” or also known as the “Hwy 127 Corridor Sale”. If you know of any good sites selling vintage let me know & I’ll put it on the list. If you can’t go to the “127 Corridor Sale”, like me, then check out the information below for it and other cool places:
