Laundry: A Never Ending Story

5.03.2007 by Savvy Suzy

I suppose that “Homemaking” is such an underrated skill (Well, Martha, took it and elevated it to a higher status.), but still, laundry specifically, lingers there day after day — it just doesn’t want to stay away. You either do it yourself, pay some one to do it or let it go — like the people on the extreme cleaning shows. So it goes on and on and on…

We can devise our own methods of dealing with it, and of course there are the experts, ala Martha, who do have great tips to incorporate. But for now I’m focusing on some lesser knowns out there offering up suggestions on this or that.

Today the focus is on laundry. Particularly, looking for a way to make the task more efficient. If we have to do it, and we do (unless you take the expensive route or are attempting to revive the “grunge” look) maybe there’s some info. here to make things better:

Wouldn’t it be heaven to get someone to come in and organize all the stacks of paper and jumbled boxes? oooh, I dream about that…

    Hi again Miriam,

It woud be nice to be able to snap my fingers and everything be done! You’re the one in “magic carpet land”:)

Seriously, it would be nice to have someone come in and organize, but the reality is that someone will be me:) So my attitude is to appreciate that I’m able to do it, and think about the benefits that will come from getting it done! Thanks again.
